The US President Donald Trump and the Russian President Vladimir Putin will have their first conversation over the phone on Saturday. It is going to be a relatively typical first conversation.

The US President will also talk with Angela Merkel and Francois Hollande. According to information so far, the conversation with the German Chancellor will be mostly about Russia and the relations with the West.

Also, German sources say that the German Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet with US vice-President and the Secretary of State next week.
