Greek Cup holders PAOK have opened their campaign to defend their title with a 2-1 victory over Levadiakos in Thessaloniki. PAOK squandered a bag chances but managed to clinch the win the win with a goal by Pelkas (41′) and Sakhov (70′). Levadiakos had temporarily leveled the score with Giakoumakis (46′).
