Four soldiers killed in helicopter crashes in residential district in Constantinople (videos)

Four soldiers died after a military helicopter crashed near a residential area in Istanbul’s Çekmeköy district on the Asian side, Governor Ali Yerlikaya said Monday.

Ambulances and rescue crews were immediately dispatched to Kirazlıdere neighborhood, where the crash took place.

A helicopter crashed in the residential area of Turkey’s Çekmeköy Region leaving at least one military serviceman injured, the NTV broadcaster reported.
The Governor of Constantinople, Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that the plane crashed during a forced landing.

According to initial reports, the helicopter crashed due to technical problems while performing a forced landing. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene following the accident.
