Furkan Naci Top died of cancer

Athens correspondent for Turkish state news agency Anadolu, Furkan Naci Top, has died of cancer at the age of 33.

Furkan Naci Top started his career at Anadolu in 2013, initially covering energy, before moving to the agency’s office in Athens in 2016.

His reportage from Greece included politics, economics and sports, informing the pubic in his home country about the developments in Greece.
