Minced meat balls fermented with cheese in a tomato sauce served with rice

Fluffy minced meat balls, fermented with spicy parmesan cooked in a tomato sauce. What could be better to accompany a delicious cooked pilaf!

Ingredients

For the minced meat balls

600g. ground beef

1 onion crushed in food processor

300g. Parmesan cheese, grated or another cheese of your choice

salt and pepper

For the tomato sauce

1 onion, melted
1 clove of garlic
1 cup olive oil
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 tsp. tablespoons of tomato paste
1 tsp. tablespoons sugar
1 tsp. vinegar
1 cinnamon stick
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper

For the rice

1 cup rice
1 tsp. tablespoons fresh butter
1 cube vegetable
2½ cups hot water
1 tsp. fresh turmeric
Preparation method

Make the rice

step 1

Put the fresh butter to melts in a saucepan. Once heated through, add the rice to slightly roasted. Stir and add the cube and vegetables. Sprinkle the turmeric and stir again. Add the water and let the rice cook for a few minutes.

You make the sauce
step 1

In another saucepan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onion until golden. Pour the whole clove of garlic. Add the sugar, vinegar and tomato concasse and stir. Pour 2 cups of water and let the dressing to a boil over medium heat. Finally, add the tomato paste, the bay leaves and cinnamon. Do not let the sauce thicken too much, should be a bit sparse.

Make the meatballs
step 1

Put the meat in a large bowl. Add the onion mix with the mince very well. Add the cheese, salt and pepper and knead again your mixture.
step 2

Plath mince into small balls and drop one by one into the sauce. Let your food be cooked for about 25 minutes over medium heat while shaking the pan a little to prevent the food from sticking . Serve the rice in dishes and add the putting mince balls with the sauce on top.
