Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis tested positive for the coronavirus, as he announced in a post on social media.
The Greek PM was found positive after the diagnostic test that is submitted daily and, as he announced, he will be isolated at home and will work from there.
“In the daily rapid test that I did today in the office, I tested positive for Covid-19. Consequently, I will be isolated in my home and work from there,” reminding people to get triple jabbed for the best possible protection against serious disease.
“I am sure that everything will go well and I will be in the office again very soon,” he says.
According to sources, Mitsotakis had, as expected, a PCR test on Saturday, before his visit to Turkey, which was negative.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has recently passed Covid and was negative on February 10.
