UK PM Truss’s awkward interview moment about the return of the Parthenon Sculptures to Greece (video)

She said she was against the idea

Newsroom October 5 01:44

The debate on the repatriation of the Parthenon Sculptures “heated up” again on the occasion of Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ interview with the Sunday Times in which he announced that he would raise the issue when he meets with the new Prime Minister of Britain, Liz Truss.

As expected, the subject of the return of the Sculptures of the Parthenon could not be left out of the comprehensive interview given by Mrs. Trass to the GB News network.

However, in the answer given by Liz Truss, which was negative, her awkwardness was also visible (4:22). That is, when the journalist asked the Prime Minister of Britain about the proposal of the president of the British Museum, George Osborne, for an agreement on the return of the Parthenon Sculptures, Mrs. Truss replied: “Oh, oh, I don’t support that.”
