Ukraine: Explosions shook Kyiv & four other cities – Putin’s retaliation has begun (videos-photos)

The alarm was sounded in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, on Monday morning, with the city’s mayor speaking of explosions in the city center just hours after Vladimir Putin “blamed” that it was Ukrainian forces who caused the explosion on the bridge in Crimea.

According to Ukraine’s emergency services, from the “several explosions” in Kyiv there is a “number of victims”. As reported by Anton Gerashenko, the adviser to the Minister of Security of Ukraine, a Russian missile fell near the Hrushevsky monument.

A shocking video shows a young girl walking in Kyiv when suddenly and at a short distance another missile explodes with the shock wave “hitting” the girl.

A Wall Street Journal reporter posted video he claims was recorded in Shevchenko Park in central Kyiv. In the video, a crater can be seen near children’s toys.

The moment of one of the explosions was recorded by the BBC journalist during a live broadcast. He is seen in the video crouching and then hastily leaving to find shelter.
