Nordic Monitor: Turkey’s national security advisor nurtured in Quds Force network

Kalın’s track record with the mullah regime’s long arm abroad raises concerns considering that he is privy to highly classified information

Newsroom January 24 04:46

Ibrahim Kalın, presidential spokesman and a chief aide to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was nurtured in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force network, a Nordic Monitor investigation has found.

Kalın’s track record with the mullah regime’s long arm abroad raises concerns considering that he is privy to highly classified information including that passed by Turkey’s NATO allies as well as Israel.

Although he does not hold the official title of national security advisor, Kalın had top-level talks with White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and headed a Turkish delegation to negotiate with Swedish and Finnish delegations over Turkish demands before Ankara’s approval of the Nordic countries’ bid to join NATO.
