Another first for Beyonce, as she became the first black woman to make a country song a No. 1 hit.
According to Billboard, the star’s new single “Texas Hold Em” reached the top of the Hot Country List. In fact, another of her songs, “16 Carriages,” came in at No. 9.

According to Rolling Stone, the star is the first black woman to hold that spot on the list since its creation in 1958.
The two songs are currently also currently ranked on the Billboard 100 chart at No. 2 and No. 38, respectively.
In addition, the Billboard publication reports that Beyonce is the first woman to have a No. 1 song on both the Best Country Songs and Best R&B/Hip-Hop.
