Weather: Local showers and thunderstorms expected on Wednesday

In the west, north, eastern Aegean, and Crete, we will have temporarily increased clouds with local showers and isolated thunderstorms. In other areas, there will be few clouds temporarily increasing, with local showers or isolated thunderstorms during the midday and afternoon hours, mainly in the mainland mountainous regions. Visibility in the morning hours will be locally limited, mainly in the west and north. Winds will blow from the west-northwest at 4 to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will experience a slight decrease mainly in the west and north, reaching 15 to 17 degrees Celsius in the north and 17 to 19 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.

MACEDONIA, THRACE Weather: Increased cloudiness with rain and isolated thunderstorms in eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Few clouds temporarily increased during midday and afternoon hours in western and central Macedonia with local showers or isolated thunderstorms. Winds: From northerly directions at 2 to 4 Beaufort. Temperature: From 07 to 17 degrees Celsius. 2 to 3 degrees lower in western Macedonia.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STEREA, WESTERN PELOPONNESE Weather: Cloudiness with local showers or isolated thunderstorms mainly in the continental parts. Some snowfall is possible in the mountains of Epirus and western Sterea. Winds: West-northwest 4 to 5 Beaufort. Temperature: From 08 to 18 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNESE Weather: Few clouds temporarily increased during midday and afternoon hours, with local showers or isolated thunderstorms. Winds: From western directions 3 to 5, locally up to 6 Beaufort in southern sea areas. Temperature: From 08 to 19 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE Weather: Few clouds temporarily increased, with occasional local showers or isolated thunderstorms mainly in Crete during midday and afternoon hours. Winds: From western directions 4 to 6 Beaufort. Temperature: From 14 to 19 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE Weather: Cloudiness temporarily increased with local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Winds: From western directions 3 to 5 Beaufort. Temperature: From 14 to 19 degrees Celsius.
