Nepal: At least 24 people dead from snowstorm in the Himalayas

Rescue crews are looking for 100 more climbers who must have suffered through the snowstorm

At least 24 people were killed by a severe snowstorm in the Nepalese Himalayas yesterday. Among them were foreign climbers and local guides.

According to Katmandu authorities 24 bodies were discovered on the Annapurna trail, while authorities are searching for more than 100 climbers who suffered through the storm while climbing up the mountain.
