Olympiacos defeated Panathinaikos for the second time in three days (92-86) and thus leads the finals series 2-0 and is just one more positive result away from winning the third consecutive championship.

The game was largely decided in the stormy third quarter in which Olympiacos dominated and escaped with a double-digit point difference.

Panathinaikos managed to close the gap by reacting superbly, but two big three-point shots from the home team’s hands decided the outcome. At the end
there was a lot of tension between Kanaan and Sloukas, Ataman went on the floor and was also ejected in the second final.

The match

Panathinaikos mainly thanks to Sloukas took an early 2-8 lead (2′), but Olympiacos found scoring from the hands of Milutinov and Peters, going ahead 12-10 (5′).
