Marinakis: We are showing the path of responsible patriotism – The Prime Minister presented the national positions on the EEZ, the minority & Cyprus

“It is with great sadness that we announce the news of the death of the Honorary Chairman, long-time founding member, President of the Andros Yacht Club and former President of the International Chamber of Shipping, SPYROS MICH. POLEMI yesterday Sunday 21 July 2024.

It is with great emotion that the Kamara he adored, the Andros he cherished, the international shipping family that loses an active member as the deceased was a strong representative of the shipping community in London, Athens, New York, bid him farewell. It is a great loss primarily for the family of Spyros Polemis, but also for those who worked with him and walked with him in life and professional life.

SPYROS POLEMIS stood out for his ethics, seriousness, kindness and integrity of character. A cooperative man, a man of mediocre words and active actions, with spiritual concerns and quests, he did not bend in the turbulence of life and fought to the end.”
