Juicy fragrant and golden orange pie

A perfect way to end a beautiful meal

Ingredients

For the orange pie

4 eggs

250g. sugar

230gr. corn oil

120gr. orange juice

zest of 2 oranges

250g. yoghurt

25g. baking powder

500g. crust pastry

 

     For the syrup

450g. water

500g. sugar

1 stick of cinnamon

 

Preparation method

Step 1

In a pan, unfold one by one the crust pastrysheets and leave for at least one day out of the refrigerator to dry off and then weigh them.

Step 2

In a pot, boil the water with the sugar and cinnamon to prepare the syrup. Once you are ready, leave aside to become lukewarm.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 170 ° C. In a pan put all ingredients together for the orange pie except the crust pastry , and stir with a wire. Then add the grated crust pastry and stir.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture in a  buttered baking dish and bake in the oven until you get a nice golden-orange color.

Step 5

Take the orange pie out of the oven and pour the warm syrup all over. Let it cool and serve.
