Moscow announced that it summoned a senior U.S. diplomat today to complain about what it called “provocative actions” by American journalists in the Kursk region of Russia.
The Foreign Ministry stated that it told U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Stephanie Holmes that the journalists had illegally entered the region, where Ukrainian forces carried out an incursion two weeks ago, and that Russia intends to prosecute them.
