Given the nightmarish picture of tons of dead fish in Lake Karla in Pagasitikos, and with obvious adverse effects on the environment, public health, and the economic life of the prefecture, please conduct an urgent preliminary examination to investigate, inter alia, whether and why the barrage leading to the tunnel, which is the only outlet for the waters of the entire plain of Larissa-Karla to the Pagasitikos, should have been open and, in general, how the operation of the tunnel is regulated.

How is the system of how this system is operated and how is it organized?

How the system of how this system is operated and how the system is regulated.
To investigate further who decided to irrigate the above plain, how it was done, and whether or not they weighed the risk to the Pagasitikos from the continuous flow of the Karla into it.

To check also whether the barrage had to be closed at an earlier time, i.e. as soon as dead fish appeared in the Pagasitikos, or even earlier, in view of the low water level in the Karla.

Investigate further whether there is and what is the approved plan for draining water from Lake Karla, as well as who gave the order to bury dead fish in the Xiria stream (see also the report in the press conference of the Regional Governor and the Vice-Regional Governor of Magnesia and the President of the Volos Port Authority on 27-8-2024, attached relevant article of thessaliatv, to a contractor for the collection of fish from the bridge of Dimini and above and in the net of the Port Authority in Xiria).
