The fire that broke out at noon on Thursday (29/8) in a forest area in Aera Megaron, Attica, has been contained.
The fire, which was reportedly caused by lightning, was burning on a ridge and no residences were threatened, according to the fire department.

C60 firefighters with 14 vehicles, 3 teams of hikers of the 1st EMODE, 4 helicopters and 2 aircraft were deployed.
