Glyfada: 14-Year-Old Girl Endures Months of Bullying and Assault Since Last May

According to reports, there had been an online consultation between the assailants who attacked her on Saturday night

Newsroom September 24 10:20

A constant nightmare has been living the last few months for the 14-year-old girl from Voula who was violently attacked by a group of her schoolmates in Glyfada because, as she reported to the authorities, two of her classmates who participated in her beating have been bullying her since last May.

The savage attack on the minor took place on Saturday night, on Lazaraki Street, outside a well-known clothing store, and according to reports, it was preceded by an online consultation between the perpetrators.

For the case, complaints for bodily harm have already been filed and reportedly two minors, classmates of the 14-year-old girl as well as their parents have been arrested.

As the father of the 14-year-old girl told police, the perpetrators forcibly led his daughter to a dark place, distracting her from her company and attacked her without reason from behind, hitting her on the head, causing her to fall to the ground unconscious. In fact, as her father points out, they sought to undress her and burn her hair.

Subsequently, the assailants left and the girl was received by her parents injured.

An investigation ensued during which, as mentioned above, two of the 14-year-old girl’s underage classmates and their parents were arrested, while the victim reportedly identified another person.

Another person is wanted

Specifically, according to what the spokeswoman for the National Police said to a TV station. Constantia Demoglidou, the 14-year-old girl has identified another person who is wanted.

As the ELAS spokeswoman told Action24, “the majority of those present at the attack were girls of the same age as the 14-year-old. Most were watching and none of them informed the authorities.”

“The victim knew some of the children as well as the two arrested women,” Demoglidou added.
