Today marks the 35th anniversary of Pavlos Bakoyannis’s assassination at the hands of the November 17 terrorist group. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis took to social media to honor Bakoyannis, stating, “The words of Pavlos are more relevant than ever, as they are vindicated over time. They serve as a personal compass for those of us who lived alongside him and guide the actions of every free citizen. For 35 years, they have triumphed and will continue to triumph over cowardly bullets.”
