Rain and temperature drop ahead: Kolydas predicts the first snowfall – What to expect

From the northeast the temperature starts to drop - Tomorrow more noticeable - Detailed forecast of EMY until Sunday

Newsroom October 16 07:37

Today’s weather will be pleasant, with the National Meteorological Service (EMY) forecasting a change starting tomorrow, bringing rain and localized thunderstorms along with a drop in temperature, returning it to normal seasonal levels.

Meanwhile, EMY director Thodoris Kolydas addressed the ongoing discussion regarding the possibility of the first snowfall.

He noted, “Due to the significant drop in temperature and at altitudes above 1,500 meters, there will indeed be some snowfall this weekend on the mountain peaks, where the necessary precipitation is present.”
