The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Hezbollah launched approximately 50 rockets against northern Israel.

“Many projectiles were intercepted,” and others landed in border areas, with no injuries reported, according to their statement.

The Iran-aligned Lebanese movement claimed responsibility for the attacks, emphasizing that it launched a “barrage of rockets” at the Israeli city of Safed.

Images broadcast by Al Jazeera show destroyed buildings and vehicles in the town of Qana, approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Tyre.

According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), firefighters and rescue teams have rushed to the area, and the injured are being transported to a hospital in Tyre.

The Israeli army has been bombarding Lebanon since September 23, escalating its operations against Hezbollah. Since October 8, 2023, the number of deaths from Israeli strikes in Lebanon has risen to 2,350, with 10,906 reported injuries, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.
