Upon their return, the couple was shocked and angered to discover that all their cash wedding gifts had been taken, amounting to a total value of €20,000, according to reports from neakriti.gr.

Eyewitness accounts suggest the perpetrators may have been aware of the couple’s absence and broke in through a balcony door in a less visible area.

The young couple, who recently welcomed their first child, expressed disappointment with the authorities, claiming there was a lack of immediate response. Investigations to locate the perpetrators are ongoing.
