The woman noticed the man tearing the window screen in an attempt to enter and called the police. Officers from the Malevizi Police Department apprehended the suspect before he could flee the scene.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was responsible for two additional home burglaries on November 10 and November 15.

The 42-year-old was brought before the prosecutor, who pressed charges against him, and he was granted time to prepare his defense, with a hearing scheduled for Friday.
