There are no indications of Russian sabotage in the DHL aircraft that crashed early Monday in Vilnius, according to the Federal Intelligence Service (BND).
“So far, we have no concrete evidence suggesting such an incident could have occurred,” stated BND Chief Bruno Kahl in an interview with ARD, Germany’s public broadcaster. He also noted that no technical issues have been identified in the aircraft at this time.
In recent days, both Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and General Inspector of the German Armed Forces Carsten Breuer had suggested the possibility of Russian involvement in the crash.
