Legendary saxophone player of the Rolling Stones, Bobby Keys, has passed away at the age of 70.
The great musician participated in the band’s tours for over 45 years, while he was part of the recordings of “Brown Sugar” and “Live with me”.
“The Rolling Stones are devastated by the loss of their beloved friend and legendary saxophone player Bobby Keys”, stated the band.
“Bobby’s contribution to the band since 1960 was unique. We will miss him dearly”.
“I lost my best friend in the world, and I cannot express my sadness, even though Bobby would have told me to smile”, stated Keith Richards.
