The two perpetrators of the murderous beating of the 54-year-old man, who died 8 days later, while being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Arta Hospital, took the road to prison after their apologies before the Agrini investigating judge on Saturday afternoon.
They are a 41-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, who have been identified as two of at least five perpetrators of the murder and who face charges of intentional homicide.
According to reports, the first is a known Panitolikos connection and is known for fan attacks and drug trafficking cases. The second is also known to the authorities, as he was recently involved in a bloody fight in a village in Aitoloakarnania.

The video footage shows two of the group of five hooligans holding the victim in their arms, throwing him unconscious on the pavement on Chiknia Street, and disappearing.
This was preceded by the beating to death of the 54-year-old man on the pedestrian street of Karaiskaki, next to the Church of Zoodochos Pigi.
From there the two perpetrators seem to disappear, however, a few minutes later, the 41-year-old returns to where the 54-year-old is lying unconscious.
He stands over his victim, hurling vulgar curses. Realizing the 54-year-old is unresponsive, he shouts angrily: “Fine, die!”
“You’re a snitch, wake up. Should I call an ambulance or are you going to die here alone? Let me know. Fine, die,” the perpetrator can be heard saying in a second video while yelling at passersby: “If you want, you [meaning an ambulance] take it. Wax him and a rat candy.”
All this happens on Wednesday afternoon, in the center of Agrinio and in front of the eyes of dozens of passers-by who call an ambulance of the ambulance service that takes the victim to the city hospital.
Eight days later, the 54-year-old died, intubated in the Intensive Care Unit of Arta Hospital, carrying injuries to his head and fatal blows to his liver and ribs.
The videos and photos presented by protothema.gr are included in the material of the preliminary investigation conducted by the Security Department of Agrinio, while searching for at least three accomplices of those arrested for the murder of the 54-year-old.
