The Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) investigation into the mafia-style execution of two Turks in Glyfada and the serious injury of another Turkish national is proceeding intensively.
According to police sources, officers of the Greek FBI have managed to identify both the two deceased individuals and the injured man currently hospitalized at the Asklipieio Voula.
The investigation revealed that the three individuals were reportedly members of a major Turkish criminal organization, and red notices for homicide had been issued against them in Turkey.
Two Turks Remanded in Custody for the Mafia-Style Execution
Meanwhile, two Turks arrested in connection with the bloody incident have been remanded in custody.
The two defendants were charged with felonies and immediately detained after testifying.
According to sources, one of the two defendants exercised his right to remain silent during his testimony before the investigating judge. In contrast, the other reportedly denied being present at the scene of the violent incident during his deposition.
It is worth noting that the charges against the defendants include premeditated homicide in a calm state of mind, committed jointly, attempted homicide on multiple counts, moral complicity in the above acts, illegal possession of firearms, and use of firearms.
The remaining suspects in the case are expected to testify next week.
