Two traffic accidents on Attiki Odos have caused severe congestion on the roads. At the same time, the Traffic Police are gradually implementing measures starting today in preparation for the Christmas holiday season. These include increased road policing and traffic adjustments at the entrances and exits of major urban centers. The measures will remain in effect until January 8.

The first traffic accident occurred after the Periferiaki Egaleo exit in the direction toward the airport. About 30 minutes later, a car went off the road on Attiki Odos after the Periferiaki Egaleo exit, also in the direction of the airport.
