The conservative New Democracy (ND) party on Sunday lashed out against main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) leader Alexis Tsipras following his speech at Kalamata, Peloponnese.
The ND released a statement underlining that while Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and the leaders of the “free world” are struggling against terrorism and putting up a united front,
Mr. Tsipras is opting for insults and nastiness. Furthermore, his economic program was described as one that “causes laughter to the Greek people, as it promises everything to everyone.”
The Greek conservatives also speak of a “different migration policy” that was announced on Sunday by Mr. Tsipras that abolishes Frontex, opens the borders, grants citizenship to everyone, and demolishes the Evros fence at the Greek border.
The statement added that the ND party is joining the other countries of the “free world” in an effort to boost security at the borders, leaving SYRIZA alone with its “obsessions”.
