Black smoke again from the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican

Two more votes to follow in the afternoon

Newsroom May 8 01:04

Black smoke has once again emerged at 1 PM on Thursday (Greek time) from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel, where the Conclave is meeting to elect the 267th Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church.

As a result, the 133 cardinals have not elected a Pope, neither in the second nor in the third ballot. Two more votes will follow in the afternoon (around 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM).
