“Untalented, Horrible, Idiot”: Trump… insulted Bruce Springsteen, who called the American government “corrupt and insidious”

The legendary rock star, in a recent concert in Manchester, said, among other things: "My country is in the hands of an inept government" – He accused Trump of authoritarianism

Donald Trump launched today a vitriolic attack against Bruce Springsteen, calling him a “dummy,” just two days after the rock legend’s attack on the “corrupt” Trump government during a concert in Britain.

“I see that the completely overrated Bruce Springsteen went to a foreign country to speak badly about the President of the United States,” wrote the US President in a post on Truth Social, while he was on his return flight to the US after his tour in the Middle East.

“He’s untalented, horrible, a frustrating idiot who enthusiastically supported the scammer Joe Biden,” wrote the American president, describing the 75-year-old singer – a long-time supporter of the Democrats – as “dumb as a rock.”

Trump added, “That dried-up prune (his skin has atrophied) should just shut up.”

“Untalented, horrible, idiot”: Trump… insulted Bruce Springsteen, who called the American government “corrupt and insidious”

The legendary rock star, known for “Born in the USA” and “The River,” and the voice of America for over 50 years, has delivered a series of speeches criticizing Trump, calling him an “unfit” president. Recently, opening his “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour with the E Street Band with a concert in Manchester, he launched a new attack on the occupant of the White House, calling him an “inept” leader.

“My homeland, the America I love, the America I have written about, which has been a beacon of hope and freedom for 250 years, is in the hands of a corrupt, inept, and insidious government,” he said, urging the audience to “raise their voices against authoritarianism and let freedom triumph.”

“In America, people are persecuted because they exercise their right to free speech and express dissent. That’s happening now!” the singer said from the stage. He also condemned “the wealthiest men” who “find sadistic pleasure in the pain they cause American workers” and “the alliance with dictators.”

But he added that America is “a great country with good people. So, we will get through this.”

Manchester was the first stop on his summer European tour, titled “The Land of Hope & Dreams Tour,” which, according to its website, is expected to attract 700,000 fans across 16 concerts.

The singer, who has sold over 150 million records and is known for his lengthy concerts, has never hidden his progressive values. A close friend of Barack Obama, he performed in support of Kamala Harris at a rally a few days before the November elections, which Trump ultimately won.
