POTAMI: PM’s alliances without principles; badly formed gov’t appears

POTAMI commented that "one would expect from a party which was for 2.5 years in opposition and called for elections there and now to have been better prepared for this historic occasion"

Alexis Tsipras’ political alliances are without principle and have resulted in a badly formed government, was the Potami party’s first reaction.

The parliamentary ethics committee unanimously supports lifting the immunity of the 11 New Democracy MPs involved in the OPEKEPE case – a move they themselves had requested

“An alliance lacking principles, between Tsipras and Kammenos, as one would expect, has resulted in a badly formed government,” centrist Potami said of the composition of the new radical left, and slightly right-wing, Greek government.

Furthermore, the statement also pinpointed the choice of Zoe Kostantopoulou as the new Parliament President, stressing that the “positive exceptions in the new government’s composition were few”.

“One would expect from a party, which has for 2.5 years while in the opposition called for elections here and now, to have been better prepared for this historic occasion”.
