Greece weather update: Unseasonably high temperatures persist

The EMY forecast until Tuesday 17 June - In Laconia four of the eight areas with the highest temperatures today, Thursday

Thursday, June 12 – Temperatures remained at unseasonably high levels today, with local highs surpassing 37°C. According to the National Meteorological Service (EMY), the heatwave is expected to persist over the coming days.

The highest temperature recorded today was 37.3°C in Asteri, Laconia, according to the National Observatory of Athens.
