Greeks who had been trapped in Israel following the outbreak of clashes with Iran on Friday night are returning to the country via Egypt aboard a C-130 military transport aircraft.
Since Israeli airspace has remained closed in recent days for safety reasons, our fellow citizens — including several artists — had no way to leave the country.
As a result, they traveled to Egypt, from where they were picked up — under a government plan — by a Hellenic Air Force transport aircraft, which is expected to land at Elefsina Airport.
