A 31-year-old Turkish man was arrested in Thessaloniki, as he is wanted in Turkey for allegedly acting as the instigator in an attempted homicide and for extortion.

A Turkish court has requested his extradition, with the alleged crimes having been committed in October 2024, according to the official warrant documents.

He is expected to be brought before the Thessaloniki Court of Appeals Prosecutor, where extradition proceedings will begin based on the Turkish request.
