Uncontrolled bus speeds 150 meters down Vouliagmenis, smashed poles and crashed into fence

According to reports, the driver forgot to put on the parking brake when he got out of the vehicle for a personal emergency

Newsroom July 10 08:31

An accident, fortunately without injuries, involving a bus on line 122 of the OSI operating the Argyroupoli – Saronida route occurred on Wednesday evening on the Vouliagmeni bus.

As shown in a video from a security camera published by notia.gr, the bus, which was empty of passengers, travelled “rudderless” a distance of about 150 metres during which it climbed the pavement, ripped up lighting columns and traffic signs and crashed into the fence of a building, stopping – fortunately – at the end of the journey.
