The heatwave is forecast to ease only in northwestern Greece by Sunday afternoon (July 27), with a more general decrease in temperatures expected from Monday (July 28) across most regions.

Key Concerns:

• High minimum temperatures, particularly in urban areas, are forecast to remain around 28°C to 29°C, offering little nighttime relief.

• Strong northerly winds, reaching up to 6 to 7 Beaufort, are expected from Friday afternoon (July 25) and into Saturday (July 26), especially in the Aegean Sea.

Despite the intense heat, no significant change in weather patterns is anticipated before Sunday evening.
