Ghislaine Maxwell’s testimony on Trump: “I never saw him behave inappropriately”

The US Department of Justice released the testimony of Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence in a Texas prison for recruiting underage girls to be abused by Epstein

Newsroom August 23 06:12

The US Justice Department tonight released the transcript as well as the recorded recent testimony given by Ghislaine Maxwell, the accomplice of deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein, at a time when the Donald Trump administration is being accused of “lack of transparency” in this case.

“Except for the names of the victims, the text includes every word. Nothing was deleted. Nothing was hidden,” asserted Todd Blanche, a senior Justice Department official who took the deposition from Maxwell in late July.

According to this text, Epstein’s former companion and associate told Blanche that she never saw President Donald Trump in an “inappropriate environment.”

“The president has never been inappropriate with anyone,” she added.

Maxwell also said she was not aware of any “client list” of Epstein.

The Justice Department has come under fire from the president’s own supporters for its decision not to release the Epstein case files. The financier committed suicide in jail in 2019 while on trial for human trafficking for sexual purposes. He had pleaded not guilty.

Maxwell was serving a 20-year sentence in a Texas prison for recruiting underage girls to be abused by her partner. She has appealed to the Supreme Court after her appeal was denied.
