The owner of the black Porsche involved in the serious traffic accident that occurred early Friday morning on the Thessaloniki–Moudania highway, outbound from Thessaloniki, has been located by the authorities.
According to information from protothema.gr, she is a 45-year-old businesswoman, owner of a beauty center. However, it is still unclear whether she was behind the wheel at the time of the collision.
She is currently being taken to the Traffic Police to give testimony, in order to clarify her role in the crash.
The accident happened at around 5 a.m., shortly after a well-known shopping mall. Eyewitnesses reported that the Porsche was moving at breakneck speed and rammed into the other car, which from the sheer force of the impact was turned into a mangled heap of metal.
Inside the car were two people – a man and a woman. Both were transported to the hospital, with the woman hospitalized in critical condition.
The Porsche driver, according to witnesses, managed to free himself by breaking the sunroof and left the scene before the first police patrols and ambulances arrived.
