The Port Authorities are investigating a serious incident in which a 19-year-old was injured in a jet ski accident on a beach in Rethymno.

More specifically, the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the northern coastal area of Rethymno, within the city limits, according to CretaLive.

The 19-year-old was taken to Rethymno General Hospital, while the Port Authority ordered the suspension of all water activities at the accident site until all the facts are examined.
