An incident occurred on Saturday morning in Agia Irini Square, in the center of Athens, when a tree suddenly fell for reasons that remain unknown.

Two people were injured by the fall: a woman, who is being taken to Evangelismos Hospital, and a man, whose back injury is minor and does not require him to be taken to a medical facility.

The Fire Department was called to the scene to safely remove the tree.
