Georgiadis attacks KKE over Trump’s peace plan: “Cry for Hamas that you lost”

“Not only are you not happy that the war is ending, you are upset — The Muslim states, Hamas and Israel recognize and want Trump’s plan,” the Health Minister said in Parliament

Newsroom October 13 06:00

A fierce clash over developments in Gaza took place on the floor of Parliament between Adonis Georgiadis and KKE MP Paraskevi Daga.

Responding to Ms. Daga’s intervention — in which she spoke of a “return of Palestinian borders” to the limits of 1967 and expressed opposition to Trump’s peace plan — the Minister of Health said:

“Today not only are you not happy that the war is ending, you are upset. The Muslim states, Hamas and Israel recognize and want Trump’s plan. The whole world wants the same. Only the KKE does not want it.” Mr. Georgiadis, raising the tone, called the KKE “hypocrites. You close the streets on Kifisias Avenue all day and pretend you cry for the children and the civilians who are dying, but now that peace has been achieved you are upset. Cry for Hamas that you lost. President Trump and Netanyahu have wiped out Hamas for the good of the world.”
