Demographics and Participation

These elections attract significant interest from members aged 25–54, considered the most dynamic age group, while 42% of the members are women, indicating steady progress toward greater female participation in party activities. After today’s voting concludes, New Democracy aims to strengthen its organization and maintain close contact with its base, ahead of the upcoming Congress that is expected to determine the party’s direction and strategic priorities for the coming years.

Where the Prime Minister will vote

The Prime Minister and President of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, will vote in the party’s internal elections at 18:00, at the Kato Petralona Cultural Center.

The ND internal elections will elect DEEP/DIMTO presidents as well as 1,000 delegates for the upcoming New Democracy Congress.
