A few days ago, Elena Paparizou’s record company, MINOS EMI, issued the following statement:
“Elena Paparizou was urgently admitted to the hospital in the early hours of December 8th after feeling severe discomfort during yesterday’s rehearsal of The Voice of Greece, and hospitalization was deemed necessary. Elena Paparizou will undergo the necessary tests and, as a result, will be unable to fulfill her scheduled professional commitments over the next few days. Our beloved Elena asks for apologies and understanding. We sincerely wish her a speedy recovery and a quick return to her daily routine.”

Although there is no update yet on how many days Elena Paparizou will remain hospitalized, it is certain she will not be able to participate in the scheduled filming of “The Voice.” According to reports, Kostis Maraveyas, who has previously served as a judge on the music talent show, will take her place.

Elena Paparizou will also not perform her planned concert today, Tuesday, in Peristeri at the Town Hall Square, on the occasion of the city’s Christmas tree lighting. Many fans were expected to attend as this is a free event organized by the municipality.
