Trump noted that Warsh is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School, with extensive research experience in the fields of economics and finance.

He also recalled that Warsh authored an independent report for the Bank of England, in which he proposed reforms to the framework of monetary policymaking in the United Kingdom—recommendations that were subsequently adopted by the British Parliament. Trump further highlighted that Warsh became the youngest governor in the history of the Federal Reserve at the age of just 35.

In his post, Trump emphasized that he has known Kevin Warsh for many years and expressed confidence that he would go down in history as one of the greatest Fed chairs, describing him as “perfectly suited” for the role.
