The strike is in effect for a full 24 hours, from midnight to midnight, and affects all categories of vessels.

According to union announcements, the strike also impacts routes to Salamina and Elefsina, while ferries from Rafina are operating as usual. Workers are demanding, among other things, the renewal of collective labor agreements with pay raises, improved health and safety measures on board, and stricter inspections.

Additionally, the strike includes an anti-war stance, calling for Greece not to be involved in military operations and for the prohibition of transporting military cargo.
