According to the results of the “Travellers’ Choice Awards,” four Greek beaches made the list: three in Crete and one in Corfu.

Elafonissi in Crete ranked second globally, followed by Balos in third place.

Falassarna came in 11th, while Paleokastritsa in Corfu secured 14th place.

At the top of the 2026 list is Isla Pasión, a private beach near Cozumel, Mexico, famous for its white sand and turquoise waters. Access requires a paid daily pass starting at around €38 ($45), which allows visitors to enjoy activities such as kayaking and wildlife observation.
