“European countries helped create the conditions for the start of the war”, says Iran

Tehran rules out the possibility of a ceasefire as long as the attacks continue - Iranian Foreign Ministry denies that the country attacked Turkey, Azerbaijan and Cyprus

Tehran accuses Europe of aiding conditions for US-Israeli attacks

Tehran today accused European countries of helping create the conditions that led to the US-Israeli attacks, which triggered the current conflict with Iran.

“European countries, unfortunately, helped create the conditions,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei during his weekly briefing for reporters.

“Instead of insisting on the rule of law and opposing the intimidation and excesses of the United States, they expressed agreement with these actions before the United Nations Security Council during discussions on the reimposition of sanctions. All of this together encouraged the US and Zionist sides to continue committing crimes,” he added.

Baghaei also ruled out any ceasefire while the attacks continue, emphasizing that Iran will persist in defending itself.

“There is no need for talks on anything other than defense and overwhelming responses against our enemies,” he said, stressing that Tehran has no intention of fighting its Muslim neighbors. Instead, Iran will target “infrastructure used by the attackers” as part of its legitimate self-defense.

The spokesman further denied any Iranian attacks on Turkey, Azerbaijan, or Cyprus, describing such claims as “provocative attacks.”
