The frigate “Hydra” provided support to merchant ships in the area of operations of the European mission EUNAVFOR ASPIDES, according to a post on the operation’s official website.

According to the update, the frigate participated in a maritime protection mission, contributing to the safety of merchant ships operating in the operation’s area of responsibility.

As noted, Operation Shields continues to implement its mission to protect and secure commercial maritime traffic in the area of operations.
